Hey, thanks for getting curious about me. For the record, I'm not that Irish hooligan Joe Mooney who is also in Perth, WA. I have been a copywriter for a decade, was once an apprentice chef and made a start in journalism at Curtin. In 2010 I started in comedy and advertising — both of them the 'truth well told'.

After working as a Communications Specialist at The Message Group for seven years, I tried freelance copywriting for a bit and am now the most senior Senior Creative at digital agency Juicebox. I love it. We make excellent things together and you can look at them here. 

My favourite mediums are film, radio and digital. My twin superpowers of caring and curiosity can make even the most mundane topic sing. By the way, I also like to sing and play the guitar, though that's usually only for clients that want a jingle.

You may have already heard my dulcet tones on radio ads (yep, I can VO when the need arises). I sometimes work behind the camera — directing — and have appeared in front of it too in campaigns for Ford and Water Corporation.
 

To refill my creative cup I'll head to Luna Cinemas, devour book in a cafe or bar, or listen to podcasts about art, culture and design.
